About

TheCepacFiles.blog is written by me, Lee Thompson.

After a difficult exit from a job under the alleged cloud of disability discrimination – a matter still working its way through legal channels – I started The Cummins Accountability Project (TCAP) to hold my former employer to account. That blog quickly proved one thing: sunlight works.

While that was unfolding, I applied for other roles. One call came from a recruiter at PageGroup, offering an interview with Cepac. They asked about my employment status, and I explained I was taking time out for health reasons. The promised call-back never happened.

When I followed up, the responses I received from Cepac were inconsistent with the facts I could verify. That led to legal proceedings. Cepac was aware of my medical condition but still pursued formal legal channels, instructing Horsfield Menzies – an aggressive law firm engaged to represent them in this matter.

The full details will be published once legal avenues are complete. But the experience highlighted the need for transparency. Just as Cummins inspired TCAP, Cepac has inspired The Cepac Files – a platform to explore corporate conduct, recruitment practices, and the ecosystem they operate in.

Don’t like it? Conduct yourselves better.
